Vidder’s Note: I made this ages ago and forgot to put it up. I tried to catch the alikeness of the two sets of brothers, manip’d a bit ... not sure how happy I am with that part but oh, well, maybe you lot’ll like it :D
I watched Heroes season 1 ages ago, before I ever watched SPN... then decided to rewatch it. Which was probably a bad idea, since instantly I began to ‘ship Nathan/Peter (oh, what I wouldn’t give to see Sam and Dean acting like that???). So I decided to make this video with the parallels a bit and stuff. I don’t know. I blame my brain, okay? But because I suck; I’ve only seen the first season of Heroes twice... and so I’ve only used season 1 of Heroes in this video. I think it worked well, though.

Video story: Season 4 AU.
After Dean’s death, Sam is left to face the apocalypse and kill Lilith on his own, but he’s haunted by dreams of his past and Dean’s present. He sees Dean in Hell and slowly slips further away from stability. He starts to see Dean everywhere, by his side, judging his use of his powers and supporting him in other ways. He dreams of being with him and the lines between reality and fantasy start to blur. After he takes out Lilith and averts the apocalypse he goes to the crossroads to sell his soul to be with Dean again, but Castiel turns up and stops him. The next morning when Sam wakes up, he finds that Castiel has returned Dean to him as a reward for saving the world.
Vidder’s Note: I tried to use colours in Sam’s dreams to show what he’s feeling. Red for passion/love, for example. I’m hoping I did that well. And yeah, there’s two Gilmore Girls clips thrown in there because I ran out of sleeping!Sam clips, but I think it worked out quite well :D
